CARNAL APPETITE DINNER
Is food closely related to how we experience our sexualety? When you stop eating dose your desire for sex go away? When you see exciting or well composed food does your body immediately react with excitement? Carnal Appetite is a research project about the connection between food and sexualety. The result is designed objects which aim to draw forward sensitive emotions while you enjoy food. On the 24th of june artists Elín Margot and Kjartan Óli Guðmundsson hosted a dinner with MÁL/TÍÐ Food Institute at The Reykjavík Art Museum, where guests were invited to connect with their food sensuality. Through 7 courses the guests connected with their senses and explored their personal eating pleasures.
